E2open Appoints Carl Bass to Board of Directors

Foster City, Calif. – August 1, 2011 – E2open, a leading provider of cloud-based supply chain management solutions, today announced that Carl Bass has been appointed to the company’s Board of Directors. Carl Bass is President and Chief Executive Officer of Autodesk, Inc., a leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software. As a board member, Bass will advise the E2open executive leadership team on business strategies, standards, and policies.
Prior to his role as Autodesk’s CEO, Bass served as Chief Operating Officer at Autodesk, where he was responsible for worldwide sales, marketing, and product development. Bass also held the positions of Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Product Development at Autodesk. Before Autodesk, Bass co-founded Ithaca Software, the developers of HOOPS, which was acquired by Autodesk in 1993.

In addition to his role at E2open, Bass currently serves on the Board of Directors of Autodesk, the Art Center College of Design, and the Rocky Mountain Institute. He is also a member of the Executive Advisory Boards of Cornell Computing and Information Science and UC Berkeley School of Information. Bass holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Cornell University.
