Our Platform

The foundation of E2open’s multi-enterprise platform, E2open Multi-Enterprise Foundation, is the basis for all E2open solutions. Our Multi-Enterprise Foundation delivers key capabilities for multi-enterprise integration, business process management, and business intelligence within a SaaS infrastructure. This software platform is scalable on demand and has the flexibility necessary to easily and quickly change partners and business processes such as procure-to-pay, inventory replenishment, demand-supply balancing, logistics, and quality.

E2open Multi-Enterprise Integration Infrastructure is the essential plumbing that connects and harmonizes information from all protocols, including XML, EDI, and RosettaNet (it also accepts spreadsheets and flat files). This infrastructure layer aggregates, cleanses, and normalizes information across all business partners to ensure it is always timely and accurate.

The external process orchestration layer, E2open Multi-Enterprise Business Process Management, includes multi-enterprise application products spanning both buy and sell-side processes. The process information captured in E2open Multi-Enterprise Integration Infrastructure is leveraged in the process management layer for visibility into data across the multi-tier demand-supply network, feeding both external business process execution and internal systems of record.

E2open Multi-Enterprise Exception Management provides full management-by-exception capabilities based on predetermined business rules. E2open’s exception management capabilities are embedded in its business process management and integration infrastructure layers, delivering proactive alerts to seize opportunities and minimize risks.

Encompassing the other four layers of the software architecture, E2open Multi-Enterprise Business Intelligence provides actionable insight into performance across multi-enterprise business processes and tiers of partners. E2open Multi-Enterprise Business Intelligence is available with standard and custom (ad hoc) reporting capabilities, both of which can be made available to the entire enterprise.
