On January 1, 2021, the United Kingdom (UK) and European Union (EU) will be ushering in a new era of customs and border controls. Planned over three stages to mitigate pressures on companies and the economy, changes to the UK-EU cross-border activities will be happening between January and July of next year.

Join Global Trade Academy Director, Suzanne Richer, as she digs into the details of the newly released guidelines on how imports and exports will work post-transition, and what steps businesses will need to make to prepare for these changes.

You will learn:

  • The details of the three phases, what they mean and when they will happen
  • The new import requirements for safety and security declarations
  • The new processes for exports
  • How companies can prepare now for 2021
