Volvo Sees Significant Cost Savings and Visibility With e2open

One of the most respected car brands worldwide, Volvo Cars wanted to enhance visibility and improve business efficiencies for global operations. With the right TMS as the backbone of the company’s vehicle distribution network, time-consuming business processes would become more consistent and Volvo could respond faster to unpredictable conditions. e2open was chosen out of the RFP process, taking less than five months to deploy a TMS that integrated with 26 IT systems and handled 35,000 routes to market. As a result, the service issues Volvo was experiencing dropped sharply, performance improved and the company reaped a cost savings of five times more than anticipated.
