This month, we held a Q&A with Ganesh Reddy Kunduru, Staff DevOps Engineer e2open.

Q: What’s your current role at e2open, and how long have you been with the company?

A: I have been working as a Staff DevOps Engineer since September 23, 2020. I came to e2open through the BluJay acquisition.

Q: What’s the most valuable skill you’ve developed in your time at e2open?

A: One of the most valuable skills I’ve developed is perseverance—the determination to keep moving forward despite obstacles. I’ve discovered that every problem has a solution; it just requires time and effort to uncover the right approach

Q: What advice would you give to someone just starting in their career?

A: Take the time to listen carefully before speaking and making commitments. Everyone brings unique ideas and perspectives, and learning from those with experience can significantly enhance your growth in both your career and personal life.

Q: In your experience, what are the biggest challenges supply chain leaders face today?

A: Customer expectations are constantly evolving, and meeting these expectations while ensuring timely delivery is a significant challenge in the supply chain industry.

Q: What hobbies or activities do you enjoy outside of work?

A: I enjoy playing with my daughter and spending quality time with my family.

Q: What was your dream job when you were a child?

A: As a child, I was passionate about sports and dreamed of becoming a badminton player.

Q: What personal strengths have helped you most in your career?

A: My problem-solving skills have been instrumental in my career growth. They help me approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.

Q: If you could have three wishes granted by a genie, what would they be?
  • To have my mother back, whom I lost two years ago.
  • Good health for her.
  • Good health and a successful career for my daughter.
Q: Out of all the places you’ve been to, what is your favorite and why?

A: My favorite trip was to Kashmir with my family. The breathtaking landscapes, scenic hills, and rich culture made it an unforgettable experience.

Q: What is your go-to drink, meal, and dessert choice?

Drink: Ooty Tea

Meal: Hyderabadi Biryani

Dessert: Qubani Ka Meetha
