Web Connect
Carrier client characteristics: Carriers with a smaller footprint within the e2open Transportation Management for shippers application for any number of shippers
Pricing: Free of charge (Subscription required)
What’s included: Basic access to the Web Connect user interface (UI) for unlimited loads for an unlimited number of shippers
What’s not included: Carrier Scorecard, Certified Carrier Program, Procurement Discovery, EDI integration, and API integration
Overview: The Web Connect subscription provides carriers with basic access to the world-class e2open Transportation Management for Shippers application through the web portal UI.
Available to carriers who have a smaller footprint in within the e2open transportation ecosystem, the Web Connect subscription enables carriers to service their shippercustomers manually through the web portal.
Carriers at the Web Connect level will have certain limitations:
- Will not receive the Carrier Scorecard
- Not eligible to participate Certified Carrier Program
- Not eligible to participate in Procurement Discovery
- Not integrated via EDI or API connections to provide more efficient service to shipper customers
Web Connect+
Carrier client characteristics: Carriers that service more than 50 loads per year within the e2open Transportation Management for shippers application but do not have the volume or business case to require EDI or API connectivity
Pricing: Two pricing tiers based on annual load volume and inclusive of all SCAC codes
What’s included: Access to the Web Connect user interface (UI), Basic Carrier Scorecard, Certified Carrier Program eligibility, Procurement Discovery eligibility, and “Member of e2open Carrier Marketplace” logo for use on the carrier’s website
What’s not included: EDI integration and API integration
Overview: The Web Connect+ level in e2open Carrier Marketplace includes the same world-class web portal UI that carriers connected to the e2open Transportation Management for shippers application have always enjoyed. This level is available for carriers who are connected within the e2open transportation ecosystem but do not require integration via EDI or API.
Carriers selecting Web Connect+ also receive the Basic Carrier Scorecard on a quarterly basis. This first-of-its-kind program enables carriers to see their performance across all the shippers they service. The scorecard measures a wide range of KPIs, including On-Time Delivery, Tender Acceptance, Performance variance as compared to the e2open Road Freight Market Index, and more.
Performance on the Carrier Scorecard can also qualify a carrier for the Certified Carrier Program in the e2open transportation ecosystem. There are three levels of certification—Silver, Gold, and Platinum—to distinguish the highest-performing carriers. For the first time, e2open is putting data at the center of what has traditionally been an emotional or anecdotal decision for shippers.
Certified Carriers will be eligible for Procurement Discovery, a program designed to allow shippers to connect to high-performing carriers within the e2open network. Shippers will also have the ability to filter according to specific carrier profile attributes to narrow down potential invitees to procurement events. The combination of performance-driven certification and profile filtering will provide shippers with more straightforward criteria for inviting carriers of interest to events while giving high-performing carriers an opportunity to be invited more often and receive more awards than in the past.
Carriers enrolled in Web Connect+ also receive a “Member of e2open Carrier Marketplace” logo graphic that can be displayed on their website.
Carriers at this level receive many program benefits but do not take advantage of the tight system integration via EDI and/or API connections that enables more efficient and robust communication with shipper customers.
eConnect
Carrier client characteristics: Carriers that have the volume or a compelling business case that requires EDI integration in addition to other e2open Carrier Marketplace capabilities
Pricing: Three pricing tiers based on annual load volume and inclusive of all SCAC codes
What’s included: Access to the Web Connect user interface (UI), EDI connectivity, Advanced Carrier Scorecard, Certified Carrier Program eligibility, Procurement Discovery eligibility, company logo displayed on the Carrier page of e2open.com, and “Member of e2open Carrier Marketplace” logo for use on the carrier’s website
What’s not included: API integration
Overview: The eConnect level in e2open Carrier Marketplace includes the same world-class web portal UI that carriers connected to the e2open Transportation Management for shippers application have always enjoyed. This level is available for carriers who are well connected within the e2open transportation ecosystem and require integration via EDI to drive efficiency when executing loads for their shipper customers.
Carriers selecting eConnect also receive the Advanced Carrier Scorecard on a quarterly basis. This first-of-its-kind program enables carriers to see their performance across all the shippers they service. The scorecard measures a wide range of KPIs, including On-Time Delivery, Tender Acceptance, Performance variance as compared to the e2open Road Freight Market Index, and more.

Carriers enrolled in eConnect also receive a “Member of e2open Carrier Marketplace” logo graphic that can be displayed on their website. If an eConnect carrier qualifies for the Certified Carrier Program, the carrier’s company logo is placed on the Carrier page of the e2open.com website.
EDI integration is also part of the eConnect level. This includes a connection to the e2open transportation ecosystem via SFTP or AS2 for the exchange of EDI documents to help automate Tender (EDI 204), Tender Accept (EDI 990), Status Updates (EDI 214), and Invoicing (EDI 210).
Carriers at this level receive all the available program benefits except the tighter integration via API connections that enables more efficient and robust communication with shipper customers.
eConnect+

What’s not included: eConnect+ is the most comprehensive level. Nothing is missing.

In addition, only carriers that enroll in eConnect+ can leverage API integration. There are several APIs available for establishing a deeper and more robust integration between carrier systems and the e2open TMS, but the most important gives carriers the ability to provide Real-Time Rating to shipper customers.
Real-Time Rating enables shippers to receive a spot quote for a specific load with one click in the TMS. This allows carriers to quote and win loads before they are posted in the more competitive SpotMarket environment. Shippers can obtain coverage for loads within a few seconds instead of having to wait for the spot-bidding process to play out.
eConnect+ comes with three standard API offerings: Rate Quoting (Real-Time Rating and SpotMarket), Communication, and Billing. To view the specifications for an API offering, please select from the list below:

Frequently asked questions
Learn more about how e2open Carrier Marketplace works in our frequently asked questions (FAQs) below. You can also email CarrierMarketplace@e2open.com or contact us to speak with a TMS professional.
-
Is there a deadline for enrollment?
Answer: We encourage you to make your selection by October 1. Carriers who have not selected a subscription through the e2open Marketplace are at risk of having their access to the Transportation Management System disabled. We cannot guarantee additional notification prior to access being disabled.
-
I’m a current TMS user that accesses the system through my browser. Do I still need to subscribe?
Answer: Yes. All carriers need a subscription in order to continue to use the TMS to interact with shippers. Carriers who have not selected a subscription through the e2open Marketplace by October 1 are at risk of having their access to the Transportation Management System disabled. We cannot guarantee additional notification prior to access being disabled.
-
Why does my company need to subscribe if we only login to the TMS User Interface and do not need EDI or any additional features or services?
Answer: For the safety and security of the network e2open must establish formal relationships for all legal entities using the TMS even if they use it for free. Your subscriptions also ensures that you can receive the latest news about the solution and simplifies the process to add additional features such as EDI or API connectivity, procurement visibility, or any additional value-added services that e2open offers in the future.
-
My company signed up for an “exception” through my shipper. What do I do?
Answer: Previously granted exemptions were of a temporary nature. Going forward all carriers must subscribe to continue to use the TMS to interact with shippers. No-cost enrollment is now available for all carriers, it is done completely online and only takes a few minutes. You can choose any of the subscription levels, including the free WebConnect, based on your company’s needs. However, you do need to subscribe and agree to the Terms & Conditions before October 1 to avoid the risk of having access disabled.
-
What are the benefits of the paid subscriptions and how will they help me?
Answer: Carriers who choose a paid subscription (WebConnect+, eConnect, LTLConnect, eConnect+) will receive a quarterly Scorecard Report that details your activity in the TMS and provides objective performance data across all the shippers you service. The Scorecard measures a wide range of KPIs, including On-Time Delivery, Tender Acceptance and more. The data is presented by lane and by customer and allows you to identify areas of improvement and compare your performance to all the other carriers in the e2open TMS.
Excellent performance on the Scorecard Report can lead to Certification (Silver, Gold, Platinum) which enables e2open to share your company with shippers looking to procure new transportation partners.
As our shipper customers prepare to go to market with their freight lanes, e2open works with them to understand their lanes, equipment and mode needs, and other factors. We use carrier profile information — with the certification level as a core component — to identify those carriers that are well-suited for a shipper to include in procurement events. This process is known as Procurement Discovery and can lead to increased business within the e2open TMS ecosystem.
This document compares all the subscription levels and associated costs.
This document gives more details about the Scorecard Report and Procurement Discovery.
-
I move freight for shippers on Kewill Transport, Cloud Logistics, or another e2open solution. Does this program apply to all of them?
Answer: No. The carrier subscriptions available on the e2open Marketplace are for the e2open Transportation Management for Shippers (Legacy BluJay TMS) solution. Legacy Kewill, Cloud and other solutions are not available at this time.
-
As a carrier, how is my volume calculated? May I pull a report for myself?
Answer: Yes. Any carrier user (admin role) can navigate within the TMS to Utilities > Reporting > Data Export and generate a report that shows the carrier’s load activity in the system for a date range. This document will explain how to access the report from the TMS.
-
If I change to a lower program during the year, will I receive a refund?
Answer: No. You can change your subscription to a lower level at any time, however, the annual subscription fees will not be adjusted until your renewal date and will be billed at the new rate.
-
Will there be a change in how I get support when I have an issue?
Answer: We are pleased to continue providing the same high-quality support. You will still access it through the customer support portal, just as you do today.
-
I purchased Implementation Services. Can you confirm when the project will start?
Answer: Once your enrollment is complete, your company will be added to the implementation queue. An e2open team member will reach out to you (normally within a few days) to provide an estimated project start date.
-
My company has multiple SCAC codes. What do I do?
Answer: Please be sure to list all applicable SCAC values during your e2open Carrier Marketplace registration process. If in the future you need to add a SCAC to your company’s account, you can email CarrierMarketplace@e2open.com for assistance. There is no cost to add an additional SCAC to your subscription, but there may be one-time implementation costs if you decide to integrate via EDI or API through the eConnect, eConnect+ or LTLConnect subscriptions.
-
Can I pay with a check? What are the payment options?
Answer: Payments are made by credit card, bank transfer (ACH), and we also offer an Invoice Me option as part of our quick and efficient enrollment process. Checks are not accepted.
-
I still have questions about the subscription that is right for my company. How can I get answers?
Answer: Please direct your questions to CarrierMarketplace@e2open.com.
