Q: How long have you been working for e2open?

A: I have been with e2open since January 2003, almost 21 years.

Q:  Describe e2open in three words.

A: Three words I would use to describe e2open are dynamic, relevant, and committed.

Q:  What is your favorite part of your job?

A: My favorite part of my job is solving real-world problems. I get great satisfaction when our team solves genuine business problems faced by our customers.

Q:   How do you continue learning & growing as a professional?

A: I do a fair bit of reading and experimenting to try to find strategies and technologies that can benefit our products.

Q:  What do you love the most about your job?

A: The people are what I love most about my job. Being a remote employee can have its challenges, but the talented, respectful team members I interact with every day make it much easier.

Q:   If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?

A: I would want to be able to time travel. Imagine Hermoine in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It might not be a true superpower, but it would help me get more done in a day!

Q:   What is your go-to drink or snack while working?

A: I always have a hot drink nearby. Usually, coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon. It helps me concentrate!

Q:   Who is the most important person in your life and why?

A: The most important person in my life is my wife of 35 years. She has supported me through thick and thin, both personally and professionally.

Q: What movie or song do you constantly have on repeat?

A: Hey Jude by The Beatles.

Q: What are you most passionate about outside of work?

A: I am most passionate about family. From raising our own kids to enjoying our grand kids, family has always been my main passion.

That was the central theme of our webinar panel “Compliance Agility in an Era of Regulatory Uncertainty” featuring four seasoned leaders in global trade at General Mills, Johnson & Johnson, and Johnson Controls, along with one of our own trade experts at e2open. With decades of experience across CPG, healthcare, manufacturing, and trade technology, these experts share strategies on how to stay informed when policy shifts hit without warning or outside expected channels.
