Q: What’s your current role at e2open, and how long have you been with the company?

A: I’m currently a QA Manager at e2open and have been with the company since July 2020.

Q: What’s the most valuable skill you’ve developed in your time at e2open?

A: Throughout my tenure at e2open, the most valuable skill I’ve cultivated is the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams. In my role as QA Manager, I’ve not only ensured the highest quality standards but also facilitated seamless collaboration among team members with diverse skill sets. This experience has sharpened my communication and problem-solving abilities, enabling me to navigate complex challenges and achieve successful project outcomes. Additionally, I’ve enhanced my strategic thinking and adaptability, allowing me to thrive in the ever-evolving tech industry.

Q: What advice would you give to someone just starting in their career?

A: My advice to someone just starting their career would be to invest time in mastering the fundamentals of their domain and technology. Building a strong foundation is crucial for long-term success. Emphasize focused learning and continuously apply critical thinking to address and solve business challenges. Developing this niche skill early on will set you apart and pave the way for future growth and opportunities.

Q: In your experience, what are the biggest challenges supply chain leaders face today?

A: In my view, one of the most significant challenges supply chain leaders face today is the integration of various software applications. As businesses grow and evolve, there isn’t a single software solution that can address all business problems comprehensively. Consequently, multiple software applications from different providers are often required. The biggest challenge lies in seamlessly integrating these diverse systems to ensure efficient and cohesive operations.

Q: What hobbies or activities do you enjoy outside of work?

A: Outside of work, I enjoy playing cricket and watching science fiction movies. I often drive to my hometown to spend time with my parents, which I find very rejuvenating. Additionally, I cherish the moments spent with my two children, who are 7 and 3 years old. Engaging in conversations with friends is another activity that helps me relax and stay connected.

Q: What was your dream job when you were a child?

A: As a child, I always dreamed of becoming an astronaut. I would often sleep on the terrace, gazing at the stars and wondering if I would ever have the chance to journey into space. Even now, when I visit my hometown, I still find myself looking up at the night sky, filled with excitement and a sense of wonder.

Q: What personal strengths have helped you most in your career?

A: The key personal strengths that have propelled my career growth are my focus and attention to detail, coupled with discipline and consistency. These attributes have enabled me to navigate and overcome various professional challenges. Additionally, my family has been my hidden driving force; their unwavering support has been magical and has played a crucial role in my success.

Q: If you could have three wishes granted by a genie, what would they be?

A: My first wish would be for good health and happiness for my family and loved ones, as their well-being is of utmost importance to me. My second wish would be the ability to travel across the world and even explore space, all without accumulating any debts. Lastly, I would wish to establish peace in the world by eradicating poverty, ensuring that everyone has access to the resources they need for a better quality of life.

Q: Out of all the places you’ve been to, what is your favorite and why?

A: I’ve had the opportunity to work in both the UK and Hungary, and I am truly impressed by the rich cultures in these countries. Among all the places I’ve visited, my favorite is Solihull in the UK. It holds a special place in my heart because I made some of the best memories there with my better half. The combination of its charming atmosphere and the personal experiences I had makes Solihull particularly meaningful to me.

Q: What is your go-to drink, meal, and dessert choice?

A: My go-to combination for a delightful dining experience includes savoring delicious lamb chops in Luton, UK, paired with a refreshing Virgin Mojito. To finish off the meal on a sweet note, I thoroughly enjoy a hot brownie served with ice cream.

Control Tower Technology: The Command Center Your Supply Chain Needs in 2025

According to the latest research from NC State’s ERM Initiative, third-party and supply chain risks have vaulted into the top tier of executive concerns for 2025. Why? Because the threats are coming faster, hitting harder, and originating from outside your four walls. Your suppliers, technology partners, and even the cloud platforms you rely on can become the source of your next crisis. Disruptions are now structural, not episodic. The old playbook of reacting to the occasional “black swan” event just doesn’t cut it anymore. Control tower technology has emerged as the answer. But what exactly makes a supply chain control tower effective, and how can you choose the right solution for your organization?

China’s New and Expanding Extraterritorial Regulations Significantly Impact Global Supply Chains

China is rapidly expanding its legal reach to project regulatory power far beyond its borders. This is a response to internal political and economic pressures, and external challenges such as foreign tariffs and sanctions targeting China. China is determined to use the law to defend national interests – economic, political, and military. The result is an emerging extraterritorial regulatory regime that assets jurisdiction over foreign entities and activities outside of China, especially where China’s perceived national security or economic development interests are at stake.

Historically, mariners only had a compass and the stars to navigate, which worked well for directional guidance but left sea conditions to chance. Radar, predictive weather models, and connected satellite communications not only alert ships about changing weather conditions in real time but also allow them to communicate with other ships in the vicinity. Legacy planning processes, with their rigid cycles and siloed data, were designed for calmer seas. But today’s global supply chains are more like navigating through a storm: unpredictable, fast-mo...
