Forecasting New Product Demand with AI and Machine Learning

Walk into any Target and head to the shampoo aisle. You’ll find at least 75 choices: new ingredients, unique scents, hair-type formulas, and everything in between. Today’s consumers expect variety. Underforecasting demand leads to empty store shelves, lost opportunity for revenue and poor customer experience. Overforecasting demand leads to cash tied up in excess inventory as products collect dust in storage.
