Pawan Joshi, 2024 Pros to Know Award recipient Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the only publication covering the entire global supply chain, named Pawan Joshi, EVP of product and strategy at e2open, as one of the winners of the 2024 Pros to Know award in the Lifetime Achievement category. The Pros to Know Award recognizes outstanding executives whose accomplishments offer a roadmap for other leaders looking to leverage the supply chain as a competitive advantage.

This year’s award recipients are profiled in Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s March 2024 issue, distributed at MODEX 2024

About Supply & Demand Chain Executive

Supply Demand Chain Executive is the only supply chain publication covering the entire global supply chain, focusing on trucking, warehousing, packaging, procurement, risk management, professional development, and more. Supply & Demand Chain Executive and its sister publication, Food Logistics, also operate SCN Summit and the Women in Supply Chain Forum.

“Many of today’s supply chain pros are more than just leaders within their space; they’re innovators, decision-makers, pioneers of change and growth. They’ve spent the last year (and more) creating safer, more efficient supply chains,” says Marina Mayer, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “New this year, we broke the award down into four distinct categories: Top Warehousing Stars; Top Procurement Stars; Rising Stars; and Lifetime Achievement. These winners continue to go above and beyond to overcome challenges, advance supply chain management, and make the impossible possible.”

Supply chain innovation 21 years in the making

Joshi shares this honor with his innovative colleagues at e2open. “Receiving a Lifetime Achievement award from Supply & Demand Chain Executive is incredibly humbling and wouldn’t be possible without the countless dedicated professionals I’ve worked alongside at e2open over the past 21 years,” says Joshi. “Twenty years ago, the supply chain was a black box. Product innovation from companies like e2open has helped businesses achieve supply chain connectivity and adapt to increasingly challenging obstacles. It’s been an honor to be on the front lines of this ongoing industry transformation.”

China’s New and Expanding Extraterritorial Regulations Significantly Impact Global Supply Chains

China is determined to use the law to defend national interests – economic, political, and military. The result is an emerging extraterritorial regulatory regime that assets jurisdiction over foreign entities and activities outside of China, especially where China’s perceived national security or economic development interests are at stake.

Legacy planning processes, with their rigid cycles and siloed data, were designed for calmer seas. But today’s global supply chains are more like navigating through a storm: unpredictable, fast-mo...
