A Spirited Week for e2open

Spirit Week 2025 kicked off a worldwide celebration of our amazing global team

Spirit Week is a five-day celebration of e2open employees and the contributions they make toward our culture and success. This event takes place in all e2open offices around the globe, and it gives us all the chance to build each other up, praise our best and brightest stars, and celebrate the multicultural community that defines our company.

Spirit Week lasted from March 3 to March 7, and during that time we also celebrated several special days for e2open employees. However, we had to shift some of our celebrations to ensure all teams were able to participate during business hours. International Women’s Day (IWD) was recognized worldwide on March 8 and Employee Appreciation Day on March 7. However, given that March 8 was a Saturday, we had to make the following adjustments to our internal schedule:

  • March 5: E2open Day
  • March 6: Employee Appreciation Day
  • March 7: International Women’s Day

Here’s a recap of the festivities.

E2open Day, March 5

E2open Day is more than a holiday to us – it’s a global celebration of the history, journey, and future of e2open. As the official kickoff to our new fiscal year, e2open Day gives us a chance to come together in recognition of our company’s story and the path we have taken together. The new year holds promise, and excitement for what the future holds.

Over the last twenty years, e2open has become one of the largest and most recognized cloud-based supply chain software companies for the products, services, and expertise we provide. Since the company was founded in 2000, e2open has grown from a promising tech startup to pioneers of the first cloud-native supply chain platform and an industry leader in supply chain management (SCM) worldwide.

Our success is primarily due to the hard work, creativity, and innovation of our employees, who come from all corners of the globe. Because our common strengths begin with all our individual differences, e2open Day gives us an opportunity to celebrate the diversity of our team members and the range of experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives that, together, make us stronger and contribute to the growth of e2open.

Today, e2open continues to redefine possibilities, creating supply chain powerhouses that shape industries and revolutionize the future of global commerce. We connect the largest brands in the world with every team member, partner, and supplier, helping them make, move, and deliver their products and services.

E2open Employee Appreciation Day, March 6

Employee Appreciation Day gives us the chance to show our gratitude to team members for their achievements, dedication, and contributions to making e2open a great place to work. The inaugural Employee Appreciation Day was first celebrated in 1995 as the brainchild of Dr. Bob Nelson, a global advocate of employee recognition and appreciation. He established the holiday – which is celebrated on the first Friday of March – as a way for companies to recognize and commemorate employer-employee relationships.

This year, e2open employees were given the opportunity to submit the names of their fellow colleagues to the all-company community feed along with an explanation of why they go above and beyond. Nominations were also accepted for the Quarterly E2open Global Employee Recognition Program, an initiative that allows us to acknowledge the efforts of colleagues who make e2open a better place to work and drive its success.

International Women’s Day, March 7

International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global celebration of the cultural, economic, and political contributions made by women, both personally and professionally. During Spirit Week 2025, e2open celebrated IWD with several in-office events, email communications, and virtual celebrations. This year, the IWD campaign theme was #AccelerateAction, which focused on the need to collectively make greater strides in achieving gender equality.

“Accelerate Action is a worldwide call to acknowledge strategies, resources, and activity that positively impact women’s advancement, and to support and elevate their implementation.”

 -InternationalWomensDay.com

At e2open, one of the ways we support #AccelerateAction is through our e2open Women’s Inclusion Network (WIN) resource group. The mission of WIN is to ensure the growth and support of a healthy, gender-inclusive community at e2open. Our talented employee community draws its strength from its diversity, and the group’s goal is to continue to inspire and empower the professional development of everyone who works at e2open, regardless of race, age, ability, faith, and identity.

Until next year…

Spirit week allows us to take a moment to appreciate each other and embrace the sense of community that makes our company great. The culture of e2open is rooted in collaboration, because we know that when we are moving as one, there is nothing we can’t accomplish.
