What is the e2open carrier referral program?

Answer: The carrier referral program enables e2open carriers subscribed through the carrier marketplace to earn a one-time referral fee per new customer equal to 10% of new customer’s year 1 net subscription services fees paid. Any other services fees, upsells, or renewals are excluded from eligibility. The maximum referral fee is $50,000 per new customer and applies to all e2open subscription services, excluding third party products that are resold by e2open.

How do I become an e2open referral partner?

Answer: Carriers currently subscribed through the e2open carrier marketplace may elect to participate in the carrier referral program subject to the Carrier Subscription Terms and Conditions effective July 14, 2025.

What is expected of me to submit a referral form?

Answer: Your subscription must be active and your account in good standing, and your referral must have consented to be contacted by e2open. By submitting the referral form, you agree that the Carrier Subscription Terms and Conditions regarding the Referral Program apply to your submission.

How do I submit a referral to e2open?

Answer: For each referral, you must submit the above referral form to e2open.

Who receives the referral fee – me or my company?

Answer: The referral fee will be paid in USD via check or ACH. Payment details will be confirmed prior to payment.

Does the referral program apply only to TM-Shippers SaaS prospects, or are other e2open solutions also eligible (e.g., GLO, Procurement Services, LaaS, RPS, Ocean Booking)?

Answer: The referral program applies to all eligible e2open subscription services, not just TM-Shippers SaaS.

What is the required timeframe for a deal to close in order to qualify for a referral payment?

Answer: To be eligible for a referral payment, e2open and the referred customer must enter into an agreement for e2open services within 270 days of the referral submission date, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties.

How do I know if my referral was accepted by e2open?

Answer: E2open’s acceptance or rejection of a referral will be communicated to you via email.  An email acknowledging receipt of the referral form submission is not the email acceptance of your referral. If e2open does not accept a referral form within 10 business days, the referral will be deemed rejected.

What is expected of me if the referral is accepted?

Answer: If your referral is accepted, you must arrange and attend an introductory meeting between e2open and the referral (minimum Director-level contact).  You must also provide reasonable assistance as requested by e2open throughout the sales cycle.

How and when will I be paid for a referral?

Answer: Upon the execution of a new customer agreement between e2open and the referral, e2open will notify you and confirm the referral fee amount, and payment details. E2open will pay the referral fee to you within 75 days of receipt of a proper invoice from you for the referral fee amount.

Am I limited to the number of referrals I can submit?

Answer: You are not limited to the number of referrals you can submit.

What happens if my Carrier Marketplace subscription expires or is canceled before the referred deal closes? Will I still receive the referral payment?

Answer: Yes. If your referral was accepted by e2open before your Carrier Marketplace subscription expired, you remain eligible for the referral payment, even if the deal closes after your subscription ends.
