What is the e2open partner referral program?

Answer: The partner referral program enables authorized e2open referral partners to earn a one-time referral fee per new customer equal to 10% of new customer’s Year 1 net subscription service fees paid. Any other service fees, upsells, or renewals are excluded from eligibility. The referral fee applies per new customer and covers all eligible e2open subscription services, excluding third-party products that are resold by e2open.

How do I become an e2open referral partner?

Answer: Partners must sign an e2open referral partner agreement which is available through the e2open Global Alliances team. Please contact the team to request a referral agreement: e2partners@wisetechglobal.com.

What are the requirements to submit a referral form?

Answer: All authorized referral partners must have a fully executed referral agreement in place with e2open.

If you are a carrier who is subscribed through the e2open Carrier Marketplace, you will need to execute a separate referral agreement with e2open. Furthermore, your subscription with the Carrier Marketplace must be active, your account must be in good standing, and your referral (e.g., customer or prospect) must have consented to be contacted by e2open.

How do I submit a referral to e2open?

Answer: For each referral, you must submit the online referral form to e2open. 

Who receives the referral fee – me or my company?  

Answer: The referral fee will be paid directly to your company.

How will the referral fee be paid?

Answer: The referral fee will be paid in USD via check or ACH. Payment details will be confirmed prior to payment.

Does the referral program apply only to TM-Shippers SaaS prospects, or are other e2open solutions also eligible (e.g., GLO, Procurement Services, LaaS, RPS, Ocean Booking)?

Answer: The referral program applies to all eligible e2open subscription services, not just TM-Shippers SaaS. 

What is the required timeframe for a deal to close in order to qualify for a referral payment? 

Answer: To be eligible for a referral payment, e2open and the referred customer must enter into an agreement for e2open services within 180 days of the referral submission date, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties. 

How do I know if my referral was accepted by e2open?

Answer: E2open will communicate acceptance or rejection of a referral via email.  An email acknowledging receipt of the referral form submission is not considered acceptance of your referral. If e2open does not accept a referral within 10 business days, it will be deemed rejected.

What is expected of me if the referral is accepted?

Answer: If your referral is accepted, you must arrange and attend an introductory meeting between e2open and the referred contact (minimum Director-level).  You must also provide reasonable assistance, as requested by e2open, throughout the sales cycle.

How and when will I be paid for a referral?

Answer: Upon execution of a new customer agreement between e2open and the referral, e2open will notify you and confirm the referral fee amount and payment details. E2open will pay the referral fee within 30 days of receipt of a proper invoice from you for the referral fee amount.

Am I limited to the number of referrals I can submit?

Answer: No, you are not limited to the number of referrals you can submit.

What happens if my referral agreement or Carrier Marketplace subscription expires or is canceled before the referred deal closes? Will I still receive the referral payment?

Answer: Yes. If your referral was accepted by e2open before your referral agreement or Carrier Marketplace subscription expired, you remain eligible for the referral payment, even if the deal closes after your subscription ends.
