Employee Spotlight

E2open is powered by a strong global network of problem solvers and innovators driven by strong values and our company culture. Together, we are focused on doing what’s right in business and our communities. Every month, we will shine a spotlight on an exceptional team member who is helping us transform the supply chain industry. This month, we held a Q&A with Yendis Lombillo, Senior Customer Success Manager at e2open.

Q: How long have you been working for e2open?

A: I started working with the INTTRA team in 2006, and have been with e2open since INTTRA was acquired in 2018.

Q: What do you enjoy the most about working in the supply chain industry?

A: I appreciate being part of the supply chain industry, which represents solutions that help us in our daily lives.

Q: Describe a typical day for you at e2open.

A: A typical day at e2open is filled with customer inquiries and ensuring we keep our customers happy.

Q: What advice do you have for someone new to the industry?

A: Take advantage of being new and learn, and even when you are not so new…remember there is always something new to learn.

Q: What is your definition of success?

A: Success is ensuring that at the end of your day, week, or year – you are happy with your effort and are moving in the right direction to meet your goals.

Q: If you could have a lifetime supply of anything, what would it be and why?

A: I am a huge fan of ice cream. All flavors…Ice cream makes me happy. My current favorite might be a mix though – affogato dessert (espresso and ice cream).

Q: How do you like to spend your free time outside of work?

A: My main activity is keeping active and taking long walks with my dog Lua. Our favorite location is Miami Beach.

Q:  What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

A: Through the years I have received a lot of advice (as we all do), but my most memorable was from my grandmother. She always said the only people who do not make mistakes are those who don’t try at all.
